From MCO to DIA

I'm on the move once again. This time I'm headed back to the place I roamed during my adolescent years, Denver, Colorado.

I can't wait to get back to see my old friends and to see my family. My sister will be in town, I haven't seen her since last Christmas.

My high school, Denver East, is hosting an assembly on Friday morning, should be pretty exciting. I can't wait to get back home.

The banquet circuit continues...... I will post pics when I can.

Hey David,

Have a wonderful time at home. I know your family and friends can't
wait to see you. As they say, there's no place like home. Take plenty of pictures, and make sure
you wear one of your new suits.
I commended Daniel yesterday on what a GREAT job he did on your
picture. It was a master piece.

Maybe some of your other blog readers do not know it, but East High School in Denver is one great high school! Some of the prominent alumni include Phillip Bailey, Pam Grier, the actor Don Cheadle, the actress Hattie mcDaniels; not to mention actors like Douglas Fairbanks, Ward Bond; the singer Judy Collins, etc. All are graduates of Denver East (as am I). So be honored by the "Angels" at such a young age as yourself is a singular significant achievement. Congratulations!

Let me know how the football team is doing.

Oliver,

It was good chatting with you last Friday. I'm glad you enjoyed your time at HU. I wish you much continued success and can't wait to see what you do next. Keep up the good work and stay humble and all the good things will continue for you. Have fun at homecoming and please let me know what you think of the event Mr. Hill has planned. You and Lance stay out of trouble in my city, leave some of it for me when I get home.

Love Ya and keep doing you.

I hope you have a great time with your family and friends and at your old high school Friday morning. I am really looking forward to all the pictures. By the way, I see you used the airport codes as your blog caption. You certainly do enough flying to know these codes. These airport codes are really used because of the weather. All official weather statistics are taken at the airports of all cities and since many cities have more than one airport they need to use these unique airport codes. David, I had to give you my ejheat weather geek info of the week. I once lived less than 3 miles from MCO (called OIA by locals) for more than 7 years in Lee Vista off of South Semoran Blvd.( called 436 by locals) I used to watch the planes as they were approaching for landing at OIA. I flew out of OIA many times. Now I fly out of TPA ( better known as TIA by locals). It is much closer to Lakeland than OIA is from Lakeland. I am sure you will be giving your sister a big hug. As part of your blog family, please give your family and friends all my love. Take care and enjoy yourself.
