Game Time

Well as you know, the 2008 Olympic Games kicked off last night with an awe-inspiring Opening Ceremonies.  People have been posting on the blog asking why I didn't go to the Ceremonies, the answer is honestly, I came here for one ceremony and thats the award ceremony for the 110 hurdles on the 21st and that's it.

Today is my last day in Dalian at the training camp, I'm off to Beijing in the morning and I can't wait to escape Groundhog Day!  LOL.  I still have nine days until I open up with the first round on the morning of the 18th at 11:15 (11:15pm on the 17th eastern time).  Things have been going great and everything is right on schedule.

The opening for the olympics was beautiful I would have cried if I was there. It made you appreciate different cultures and backrounds. It makes you want to represent the u.s even harder, because china was repin hard so I would want to rep the u.s even harder in everything I did.

I witnessed the openings and it was great. However, my only concern regarding the Olympics is to watch my favorite 110 meter hurdler, David Oliver and that's it! lol

Stay focused and thanks for posting your schedule . . .

David,

Such a special name! David was/is an important person in the bible, so I am sure that it was not by chance that the name was given to you. God bless you, because it is He who we owe all honor, glory, and praise to you. Continue to be blessed and give blessings in return! P.S. Keep that smile; it would lighten any room!
